Military Orders
• For APO or FPO addresses, please enter APO or FPO in the City field and one of the following two-letter codes in the State field: AE for Armed Forces Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Canada; AA for Armed Forces Americas; and AP for Armed Forces Pacific. Mail to military bases all over the world are priced the same as US orders. We hope you are home soon!

DELIVERY SPEED:

We process and ship orders Monday thru Friday (Except holidays).

In-Stock Orders ship the same day if ordered before 12 noon.

In-stock orders placed after 12 noon will ship the next business day

We ship partial orders if the order is not completely filled by Friday of the week it was placed.

Check your order status the day after your order was placed to find out if everything was in-stock.

Items marked "Processing" for more than 1 day are expected to ship very soon.

Back-ordered items are re-stocked several times a week.

If your items status is "Back-ordered" for more than a week it's probably unavailable from any of our regular distributers.

If we are unable to fill a back-order the item will be canceled from the order.

Payment for all orders are reserved but not captured until the order ships. Any un-captured amount will be returned in 30 days. or sooner

We understand that you have choices when ordering on-line and we sincerely appreciate that you chose us. With that in mind you can be assured that we make every effort to get your order to you fast as possible. We buy direct from distributors, labels, and individual rappers. Unfortunately the nature of dealing with independent (underground) music can be very unpredictable or worse. We buy music everyday. We are constantly re-stocking our inventory. If items you ordered are marked as back-ordered for any length of time you can bet it's a fairly hard to find and we are making every effort to obtain the item.

DOWNLOAD BASICS:

Download links are available for three days. Downloads are served in a .zip file that should be easily handled by any computers (Mac or PC). Once the file has completely downloaded, click the file if it has not opened automatically. A folder named SoSouth will appear and your songs are inside. Drag and drop the songs into your music program or just click to activate your player. The files are unprotected MP3 format coded in high quality 192 VPR bit rate and should be useable in most modern MP3 players and all computers. Please know your players limitations before purchasing a download. Once a file has been downloaded we are obligated to pay the Artist and unable to refund you. You are limited to access the link from three different IP address only (not more than three different internet connections).

DOWNLOAD TROUBLE:

Most of the time your download will only take a couple of minutes to complete (depending on your connection speed), however it’s not uncommon to have trouble downloading from time to time due to many factors such as the speed of your connection on a particular day or the traffic at the server (No download companies are exempt form these troubles, not even Itunes). Please be patient and try several times before contacting us. It can be helpful to watch the download monitor of your browser (usually located in the Window or Tool menu).

MP3 TROUBLE:

If you have trouble burning an MP3 it may be because your burning software does not like VBR (variable bit rate). Most modern burning software will work with VBR. We suggest using Toast or Itunes (Itunes is free for everybody at Mac.com). Keep in mind that MP3's were considered data files on older software (AIFF files are music files). If you are having trouble playing MP3's again we recommend a new version of Itunes if your listening from your computer. If listening from a portable player you will need to know your players limitations before purchasing. Our MP3's will work with all versions of the IPOD and most other modern players.

BOOTLEGS:

We do not manufacture anything that we sell. We do not intentionally sell any bootleg material. We have direct contact with the regional record labels, artists and distributors. Please keep in mind that we sell lots of so-called underground CDs, many that are manufactured on CD-R only and some that are originally manufactured professionally and later pressed on CD-R. We do our best to make a notation if the type of manufacturing has changed, and we are always willing to accept a return if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase. Just remember in Houston where most of our music is pressed CD-R does not necessarily mean bootleg.

COMMUNITY & ORIGINAL MUSIC :

Since we do not sell bootlegs and we buy music directly from people in the community you can feel good about your purchase. Know that someone beside us is making money when you buy. Truely your payment to us is helping to pay the bills for some of your favorite rappers and DJ's. Plus, we are one of the only independant, all rap sites that specialize in original music. Without discounting any of the facets that make up the comunity as a whole we recognize that there are no great mixtapes next year if there is no great original music this year. Please help us support original music.
